Hi, I'm Alex, a multi-disciplinary creative based in Denver, Colorado specializing in emerging technologies (including immersive media), documentary productions, and learning and development.

Over the last decade I've directed live-action documentary and commercial content, built immersive VR experiences for Fortune 500 clients, and developed new production pipelines. That's taken me to some unexpected places: on top of wind turbines, underwater on coral reefs, and deep inside enterprise training programs reaching over a million learners. Along the way I've also designed packaging for aquarium fish, which remains one of my more obscure credentials.

With a background in Marine Science, Media Studies, and Journalism, I approach every project with the same instinct: get close to the subject, ask good questions, and find the story that makes people care. Whether I'm behind a camera, inside a VR headset, or building a new workflow, I'm drawn to work that sits at the intersection of craft and curiosity.

I'm at my best when the project is a little complicated, the tools are still being figured out, and the team is small enough that everyone has to wear a few extra hats.
